On December 15, 2021, Petar Jankov and Radoslav Moldovanski observed 2 individuals of the Long-billed Dowitcher  (Limnodromus scolopaceus).

This is the first observation of the species for Bulgaria, and subsequently it turns out that the birds were observed as early as December 5, 2021, but were incorrectly identified.
