Since 2009, the Bulgarian National Committee for Rare Bird Species (BUNARCO) has published an up-to-date "List of Birds Species Observed in Bulgaria"
The proposed list contains the scientific, Bulgarian and English names of all bird species observed in Bulgaria. A critical review of all species observed in the country since 1880 to the date of publication of the list. Information on the current status of each species is presented.
The national list consists of species observed with certainty in Bulgaria, included in category A, category B and category C. Species in categories D and E are not included in the national bird list.

Report 1 - for the first 10 observations of all rare bird species in Bulgaria until December 31, 2019 and for the first established nesting in Bulgaria for some rare bird species.
