Bohemian Waxwing (Bombycilla garrulus). According to our National List the species is “Winter visitor, birds of mainly north origin winter regularly at least in some part of the country (W) more than 100”. For the last 25 years we have only single birds or very small number that why we change the status to the (w) “number of wintering birds is less than 100 individuals per year”.
Two birds have been observed in Kamen Bryag, Dobrich District, on 9 Feb 2026, observed by Iordan Hristov.  Same birds have been observed next week from many birders.
